We have now been living together with this story for a year; the seasons and rhythms of life accompanied by the unfolding of each chapter.
As we pause this week, before we dive in again to be swept along by the narrative for another year, I point you to watch the video below. It reminds us of the importance of the gift of reading scripture together. When we read together, out loud, in community, and discuss and talk about what we have read, we not only get closer to the scripture, but we form a community, bound by the shared identity of a story to live by.
